The rent is fixed for the period of 6 or 12 months when the contract is signed. If you decide to renew your new contract, the weekly rate will be based on the rack rate at the time of signing, which may increase.
How long is my lease?
All rooms at Iglu are available on long leases of 6 or 12 months. Before your current contract expires, we will contact you to see if you would like to re-sign with us for a 6 or 12 month extension.
Does Uhomes show a price per apartment or per person?
Prices are per person per week. The price includes your own bedroom, utilities and a basic internet package.
Can I live in Iglu for more than 12 months?
Yes, you can live in residence during your studies. We will always contact you before your existing tenancy expires to see if you want to renew and for how long.
How often is the rent paid?
You must pay your weekly rent every fortnight and it is your responsibility under your Tenancy Agreement to ensure that rent is paid at least two weeks in advance at all times.

Will the apartment refund my deposit if I don't have a visa?

How long is my contract?
To maintain our contract cycle, your contract will usually run for a full 6 or 12 months. In some cases the amount will vary and the hotel will advise you if this is the case.
